Wallace & Grommit Teach Kids Geek l337ness
The Militant Geek offices haven’t completely gone to a piss and vinegar liquid diet despite this morning’s appearances to the contrary. To end the week on fuzzy note we’ll mentioned that geek favorites Wallace & Grommit (with Rube Goldberg-like devices in tow) will be teaching 9-11 year old UK kids all about technology innovation. From the Business Innovation blog:
The Patent Office has appointed Bell Design to roll out an interactive campaign to encourage innovation among primary school children. The campaign will be based around an interactive website and feature Aardman Animation characters Wallace & Gromit. It will aim to encourage children aged 9-11-years-old to think about innovation. The campaign will form part of a wider public agenda to move the UK towards an innovation-based economy.
I’d bet these are a lot better received than the hernia PSA’s the school nurse inflicted when I was in grade school.
