So it’s quickly coming to the end of another long week. And despite loving this Internet Piracy Shirt from Jinx.com, I’m entirely too vexed to provide a proper description.
Link to ThaSlayer for his compiled wish list of Jinx.com loot (or is it booty? I can never keep my pirate and hip-hop references straight).

Roving the Interwebs I stumbled upon this light-up equalizer tee from ThingsYouNeverKnew.com. It seems extremely similar to the T-Qualizer shirt sold by BlueFishTShirts (seen in the video below - but, because of a site reconstruction, no longer seem available for purchase). Both shirts feature red and green sections that light up based on the frequency and loudness of ambient music. However, while the BlueFish shirt spikes upward the tee from ThingsYouNeverKnew.com spike downwards. It’s perhaps a quibble. But when you’re looking to rock the party as I do (I come with a cake and ice cream guarantee) every detail matters. The possibility of electrocuting yourself at the next rave will cost you $29.98.
Thanks to Begifty for the discovery.

So this shirt, listing quite possibly ever Internet time sink and hyperbole generator (also known as a ’social network’) escaped our judgment when it made the rounds last October/November. Lucky for us, the shirt creator hasn’t been sued for trademark violation by any of the kajillion sites listed. That means we can still link to the spreadshirt store selling it.
Prices range from the very affordable $12.90 for a Men’s lightweight tee up to $21.90 for a long sleeve variant. The image suggests taking a permanent marker and highlighting which sites you belong to (because you can’t have enough artifice when it comes to friendship, apparently). Perhaps a better idea, however, is scratching off sites one by one as their lack of business models reel them into the financial abyss - thus leaving you with an almost all back tee. That is good. Web 2.0 is a fad, kids. Emo is forever.

Emil, from TenBills.com, was kind enough to let me know that MilitantGeek readers get 20% off all TenBills merchandise until February 15th. Just use the coupon code ‘SAVETWENTY‘ on checkout.
TenBills, as you may recall from past mentions on MilitantGeek, has a beautifully drawn, vibrantly colored collection of tees. While not all are geek or technology themed, almost all are great and the ones that are fall into ‘must haves’. Get yours before the 15th and let them know who sent you!

Oh, those lovable scamps over at Penny Arcade. They’re known for producing numerous comics that are nearly incomprehensible without a Moby-Dick sized tome of back story. They also make a great shirt. Case in point: John Gabriel’s Greater Internet Dickwad Theory. It’s awesome because its true. Available for $17.99. Props to TCritic for the notice.

At MilitantGeek I see a lot of TShirt designs week in and week out. And while most places have one shirt that’s rather witty or clever its rare when I stumble across a store that I fall in love with. Retropolis, though, is one of those newly discovered finds.
The idea is to take the romance and swashbuckling set design of Flash Gordon, channel it through a talented designer, and then press it onto lovely shirts for the world to wear. Items, like “the Volto-Vac Retro Robot” are simply too unique and wonderful not to celebrate. This unique pieces of art will run you $25.99. However, when compared to the $30+ for yesterday’s Wordart piece, its a bargain.

Wordart: the favorite of MBA’s, the bane of designers, and its continued existance further proof that most people have no taste. The people from the “Taste’s Like Rad” Cafepress store agree. And while the design is absolutely killer for someone like myself I do pause at the $33.90 price… for a Cafepress shirt. Perhaps the designers are saving up for their own copy of Photoshop?

As the people from Errorwear correctly point out:
Long ago the video game consoles were the refuge of gamers who didn’t want to deal with troublesome computers. Calibrating joysticks, installing new drivers, lowering the video options… EFF THAT, I’m just going to play Rad Racer. Well no longer, as the line blurs and Xbox 360s can crash. FOREVER.
Thankfully, they’ve created a shirt that you can wear when your Xbox 360 does die. Display to the world what kind of suffering you’re going through - after all, when it comes to mourning a 360, white is the new black. Or maybe you’re a Wii owner just rubbing it in. Whatever. $15.49.

I have no idea why its taken this long but finally one of the numerous geek video shows (starring Leo Laporte no less) has seen fit to rate online TShirt shops. As a reviewer, I’m not biased against any of the competitors named - Cafepress, Zazzle, and Spreadshirt. However, the video does confirm the hunches that I had while setting up my own store.

Ah binary… sweet, sweet binary. A base numbering system so simple yet so misunderstood. I fell in love with you in 0b11111001101 and after 0b1011 years of mathematical stoicism you’ve yet to wane. Sure, base ten is everyone’s first love and life on the web requires occasional flirtations with hexadecimal. I’ll admit, I also briefly thought that octet could make me happy, what with its its leggy “7’s” and curvaceous “6’s”. But I always come back to you binary. You are the 0b0000001 for me.
Binary, As Easy As 01, 10, 11 shirt available from Rejected Reality for $22.99. Props to FunnyTeeShirts for the find.
