Ah binary… sweet, sweet binary. A base numbering system so simple yet so misunderstood. I fell in love with you in 0b11111001101 and after 0b1011 years of mathematical stoicism you’ve yet to wane. Sure, base ten is everyone’s first love and life on the web requires occasional flirtations with hexadecimal. I’ll admit, I also briefly thought that octet could make me happy, what with its its leggy “7’s” and curvaceous “6’s”. But I always come back to you binary. You are the 0b0000001 for me.
