Empire Strikes Barack TShirt
After his overseas whirlwind world tour, Barack Obama returns states-side to find his newest opponent is… the empire? Perhaps so if one of the latest t-shirts from Snorg Tees is to be believed. Of course it does raise the interesting question - where’s the shirts depicting McCain as Emperor Palpatine? Surely there’s some comic hilarity that could be mined there. That political/star wars mashups probably do have their limits, however. I would hate to dwell on just which political personality deserves to be re-imagined in Princess Leia’s slave getup… *shudders.

You’re right, this is very amusing and Star Wars seems to offer a mine field of amusing parodies for the election. Given the recent Palpatine shirt I saw your words seem prophetic.
