Pure Pwnage is a Canadian mockumentary based on Jeremy and his quest to be a pro gamer. Of course, central to any pro gamer is the ability to pwn, or completely decimate opponents, preferably in humiliating ways. Pure Pwnage’s store has a number of great items reflecting that including the ‘iPwn’ tshirt.
It’s available for $16.99 from the n00bstore. Online smackdown is extra. Props to TCritic for the find.

You know the media reports: Steve Jobs… blah blah… iPhone… blah blah… elegant design… blah… reality bubble… blah blah… unrelenting ego… blah… black turtleneck. If all that doesn’t deter you from pledging any and all disposable income from that which comes by way of Cupertino you might enjoy this shirt. Its from Indie Tech for $15.

MilitantGeek Super Tuesday Special! It takes a very special TShirt to be both geek and political. In one of the most contested elections in a generation Militant Geek highlights some great tees leading up to Super Tuesday this February 5th.
So, watching the results stream in this evening has been a bit of a disappointment. There’s no clear cut winners, nothing has been settled, and we’re in for more bickering, name calling, and annoying stumping. Yep, that’s right - the writer’s strike is still on (despite progress). They’re still not making new TV - so we’re stuck with this election stuff.
So until they get my sitcoms sorted out here’s a TShirt for Steve Jobs. Sure, a black mock turtleneck would be much more appropriate. But for $17 dollars its a reasonable way to show folks where your dollar vote goes. Get yours from Insanely Great Tees. Via Valleywag.

This week technologists will be busy detailing the latest doodad and gizmo from the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). However, Mac faithful are salivating over MacWorld, the Apple announcement-palooza that gets underway January 14th. If you happen to be one of those who prefers the Jobs’ reality bubbles check out this shirt from InsanelyGreatTees.com - Apple Timeline. It lovingly recounts the 30 year history of style over substance Apple devices. Shirts are priced at $17.
Previously featured InsanelyGreatTees featured on Militant Geek include an homage to shutterbugs. Other great Apple shirts worth mentioning are the Fake Steve Jobs Shirt.

So the Militant Geek has a pretty decent head of hair and likes to show it off before he becomes follicly challenged. However, he does realize that other geeks may not be quite as lucky to have such a coiffed comb over keeping their brains cozy on winter excursions for caffeine and Doritos. In such cases Tooks, or ‘Hats You Can Hear’, might come in handy.
Granted, the reason people like showing off their white iPod earbuds is the sense of aesthetic superiority they feel over their plebeian, non-Jobs worshipping acquaintances. And, unfortunately, the earbuds go inside these hats - rendering their white design purity moot. So why am I even bringing these $25 mp3 player accessories up? Because, just between me and your browser history, I can tell you’re not a douche.
However, I am a little concerned about the compulsive Perez Hilton refreshes…

Some facts: (1) Halloween is next week. (2) You are looking for a costume that’s easy, yet a bit more clever than last year’s Michael-Arrington-blue-shirt-special. (3) You’ve got no A-list ideas of your own and are willing to flog a tech story that died several months ago and was really only of interest to incestuous press-types anyway.
The solution: Do a Valleywag and turn to Fake Steve Jobs! Or, in the costume’s case, the people at Indie Tech. They’ve got a Fake Steve Jobs TShirt for your blogsphere hack junkie/Mac acolyte. What’s even better is they’ve also got a black turtleneck version. The shirt is $15 and the turtleneck is $20. Reality distortion field not included.

I’ve slowly been collecting a number of geek-worthy designs from Nuda and was just waiting for the right time to post them. Then, low and behold, Nuda goes and has a sale. For all you lucky, lucky people all Nuda shirts are currently $8. While their designs really cover quite a bit of ground you’ll find more than enough good stuff there to fill up your geek wardrobe. Some personal favorites:

Sometime between its edge-of-your-seat pop culture domination and its slow, ponderous decline the X-Files had a flashback episode. In that show, set sometime in the late 80’s, early 90’s, Mulder reaches into his ever present trench coat to make an important call. Instead of the sleek, reoccuring cell phones of the show’s fictionalized present he pulled out this beauty of a door stop and I nearly snorted Cheeto out my nose. If I recall it was shortly thereafter when even my sensual Scully induced suspention of disbelief subsided and I took up basket weaving. Ahhhh, the memories.
If you cherish those huge honking phones of yesteryear or want to show an iPhone n00b what old sk00l is all about Public Domain Clothing has you covered. The shirt only comes in one color (palm) and the price is $25. But - like the iPhone’s fanboys prove - when it comes to what you want the cost is really something secondary.
Hat tip to TCritic for the heads up on this T-Shirt.

Diligent surfers of this site may have noticed that over the weekend we put a slick eBay widget in the sidebar. Sometimes the best geek t-shirts aren’t new but the vintage stuff off in someone’s closet. Whether antique corporate shwag, handmade tech homages, or kitschy promotions gone bad our ‘Today on eBay’ piece will highlight those T’s that we’ve linked to in our sidebar.

You’ve got to hand it to Apple’s Steve Jobs: he’s elevated the practice of product pitching to an artform. The problem, however, is with art comes an awful lot of expectation. So when the 2007 Apple Developer conference was a bit of a snoozer geeks were quick to pile on - including Rick from MacMerc who let his sentiments be known in T-shirt form.
The shirt has gone to be something of story itself. Crunch Gear has linked to it. Gizmodo also has a post. Even the T-shirt connoisseurs are getting into the act.
Timely tech news + wearable spite = great Tee!
