The 'killer app' for electroconductive ink probably hasn't been invented yet. It very well could go down as one of those really cool ideas, like hypercolor tees, that is more of a gimmick than a useful feature.

However, the potential is there to recreate any kind of circuit. They do have conductive thread but that can be expensive. Imagine, instead, taking a normal Hans or American Apparel tee off the shelf and screen printing - not just in color - but in connectivity. A small, removal battery back at the base could then deliver power through the inked design to items - LEDs, speakers, etc. at other various points on the body. That's assuming, however, the ink could be made machine washable. If so... then... that might be a place to start.

The electroconductive ink is cool to talk about and describe, but what does it actually do to make the t-shirt stand out if people are just taking a quick glance at it?

Ginger,

If you follow the link on the image to the Mark Ecko site there are two different colors shown. The site defaults to the white shirt but the black one, as seen in the image, is also available. There are also a few other sites that attribute the shirt to Ecko.

If you've got another source for the tee, I'd love to hear about it.

This is not the same t-shirt as the one on your Mark Ecko link. I think you may be wrong about it being Mark Ecko at all

Hey Andrew, thanks for posting.

There are actually a number of "Fight Night"/Street Fighter related t-shirts. I've covered a text-heavy tee here before. But the official CapCom store also has a number of takes, although they use images of the characters.

This is a goofy spin on the Street Fighter franchise. I recently saw a post featuring a t-shirt that combined the Fight Night concept with the Street Fighter characters. That was pretty cool.

That's strange. I thought maybe the reason they were left out was because they were no longer offered. However, by following the links from the MilitantGeek post back to Zazzle I was not only able to find the shirt but add it to my cart. It would be dumb if they buried those Tees - not only are they great fun but we'll have another round of election brew-ha-ha again in 2010.

Wow, thanks for the post! There are a few of the Zazzle tees in there, but I couldn't actually see the 'vote' ones when I was browsing through the selection.
